Project Description:
Construction of a 600m2 steel framed extension to storage warehouse, with integrated offices. Carried out in a live manufacturing situation where programming and client liaison were paramount to manage health and safety issues and reduce the impact on their ongoing business operation.
Works Included:
- Foundations
- Reinforced concrete floor slab to very superflat tolerance to accommodate forklift traffic with extended heavy loads
- Installation of insulated "food safe" cladding panels
- Holorib steel decking
- Blockwork internal walls to ground floor
- Metal stud partitions to upper floor
- Installation of lift to allow disabled access
- Construction of external reinforced hardstanding area to provide 8 bay lorry park
