Project Description:
Refurbishment of 3no. 11 bed surgical wards and associated offices, nursing station, toilets, stores and isolation room (over 3 floors), whilst minimising disruption to adjacent occupied wards.
Works Included:
- Construction of new stud partitions & wall linings
- Full electrical, mechanical & plumbing installation including medical gasses, auto flush hands free PIR controlled taps, all sanitary ware and swipe card entry system / video controlled entry
- Installation of DDA grab rails to toilet and shower wet room areas
- Installation of new Hardwood Timber windows c/w safety anchor points for safe external cleaning
- Fitting of new fire doors with hold open hinges and automatic closing fire sensors
- Laying of Vinyl flooring throughout, with seals to all floor/wall interfaces for infection control
- Installation of 3 compartment anti bacterial trunking throughout
- New suspended ceiling system with integrated lighting diffusers and radiant heating panels
- Wall protection (bump rails) fitted throughout
- Installation of bed head units c/w power and data points, emergency alarms, lighting and medical gasses
- Full fit out to pantry area including all stainless steel fittings incl. wall cabinets, dishwasher, fridge, sink, water boiler, toaster, microwave and bespoke worktops. Special fly screens were also fitted to the windows in this area.
- Full Decoration including sealing, emulsion and gloss painting, window blinds & bed curtains
- Connection to existing heating and water systems contained within basement plant room.
- Strip out old asbestos lagging and re-insulate.
- Installation of new BMS master control panel.
