Project Description:
Redevelopment of Racecourse facilities.
Works Included:
- Construction of new building, housing restaurant/locker room/shower & changing rooms.
- Stone column piling, steel frame with fibre cement profiled sheet roof, precast concrete first floor.
- Glazed front & rear elevations with facing brick gables.
- Facing brick partition walls, suspended ceilings, timber, ceramic tile & vinyl floor finishes.
- Installation of steel stair and glass walled platform lift.
- Plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning & electrical services.
- Construction of 105 stables, horse shower bays, vet & VBT rooms. The perimeter stables link with the jockey welfare building to form a secure stable yard.
- Stone column piling, concrete slab, steel frame with fibre cement profiled sheet roof & hardwood timber planking walls.
- Plumbing & electrical services.
- Construction of groundsman store, mess & locker rooms plus Outdoor Activities Centre with offices, canteen, changing & shower facilities.
- Stone column piling, concrete slab, steel frame with fibre cement profiled sheet roof & upper walls, precast concrete wall panels.
- Roller shutters, glazed walling & doors.
- Timber partitions & joisted first floors, timber doors, ceramic tile & vinyl floor finishes.
