Project Description:
This Design and Build project involved the construction of a steel framed extension and refurbishment of an existing office/workshop facility to provide a high specification office to house a busy call centre operation.
Initially a safe working area had to be established to allow the business to function uninterupted, whilst the partial demolition took place.
- Partial demolition of existing building and formation of temporary safe working area for existing office
- Cutting out pockets in existing floor slab to take steel support columns for new mezzanine
- Reinforced concrete foundations for extension
- Erection of new steelwork and installation of Holorib decking to form new mezzanine
- External walls clad with insulated panelling and glazed units
- Decorative feature fascade in coloured spray applied render system
- Office fit out
