Project Description:
Extension to existing Car Park to incorporate new bus stop and taxi rank.
Whilst the actual construction process was relatively straightforward various logistical problems had to be overcome including overhead power cables and the close proximity of the railway lines. The site was also located within a sensitive planning area so careful attention had to be given especially to issues such as mature tree removal /protection and maintained access for local residents.
Works Included:
- Earthworks site clearance
- Kerbing
- Drainage
- Planing and resurfacing the existing car park
- White lining and installation of lighting columns
