Luddon Construction operate a dedicated Petrochemical Division which has the knowledge and capability required to safely deliver disciplined Petrochemical Civils and Industrial Building projects, from small works through to multi-million pound standard. In recent years, we have successfully delivered both Project and Term Maintenance Petrochemical Contract works throughout the UK including Grangemouth, Aberdeen, Fife, Carlisle, Manchester, Middlesbrough and Ellesmere Port.

We transitioned into the Petochemical Environment in 1989 with the award of our first Civil Engineering Term Maintenance Contract with BP in Grangemouth, and since then we have steadily built an unrivalled skillset and reputation for delivery of Petrochemical Civils and Industrial Building project works. An ability to operate safely and effectively within this diverse and highly challenging environment, coupled with a team capable of thinking “outside the box” to devise innovative solutions to overcome complex problems has allowed us to secure work with a wide range of petrochemical clients.

Our services include but are not limited to new and rebuild tank foundations, bund walls and pipelines, heavy civil foundations, pre-cast structures, structural steel, earthworks, roads, buildings, high pressure pipeline excavations, specialist drainage, security fencing and utilities, and it is common place for these works to be executed within existing contaminated ground conditions.

In addition, many mechanical and electrical contractors utilise our services and knowledge of the working environment when they require civil construction within their scope of works. We have also built up significant experience of constructing solutions in line with PSLG (Buncefield) requirements over the years.
