Health, Safety & Environment
In 1995 Luddon formed an independent department within the company to carry out the Health, Safety and Environmental functions.
The Department has three full-time personnel: The manager and his assistant are based at the Head Office in Glasgow with a full time adviser also based at the BP/Ineos Complex at Grangemouth.
The Department offers guidance on all matters relating to Health, Safety and the Environment.
Some of the functions the HSE Department fulfil include: compilation of Health & Safety Plans together with Risk and COSHH Assessments and method statements.
They also carry out site inspections and on site tool box talks.
Guidance is also offered on environmental issues including the control of Waste Transfer.
