Project Description:

Design and construction of new DDA compliant access ramps and stairs to Milliken Park Station

Works Included:

• Installation of a 80m long elevated steel ramp and new staircase for Platform 1
• New masonry ramp on platform 2
• Landscaping
• Drainage
• Road crossing alterations
• Lighting and CCTV reconfiguration

 

Due to the close proximity of the operational railway and the requirement to remove existing access points to the platforms during the works this required meticulous planning ensuring suitable protection to the passengers and the worksite.

All key milestones were met for both the fabrication of the steelwork and planned installation dates.
