This project is currently on-site and involves extending the current substation platform to create space to allow additional electrical infrastructure to be installed.
• Creation of a new bellmouth access on the B741 to allow access to the work area.
• Construction of temporary drainage measures to control any water generated during construction activities.
• Cut and fill activities to achieve the required levels for the extended platform.
• Deep soil mixing to stabilise the ground under the extended platform.
• Piling operations.
• Construction of a concrete slab.
• Stoning up of the extended platform to the required level.
