Project Description:

Construction of two 14,000ft² steel framed retail units and external car parking within a busy retail park environment

Works Included:

  • Site clearance including tree removal
  • Diversion of Scottish Power cable
  • Breaking up of existing concrete hardstandings – which were recycled by crushing and re-used on site. This reduced the amount going to tip but also the amount of imported new stone required
  • Pad and strip foundations
  • Foul water and surface water drainage
  • Attenuation tank and filter trench for surface water drainage
  • Erection of steel frame building
  • Installation of composite cladding and roofing panels
  • Curtain walling
  • Reinforced concrete floors with polished finish
  • Roller shutter doors
  • Block paving to car parking bays
  • Reinforced concrete access road
  • Concrete slabbing to pedestrian walkways
  • Brickwork and blockwork plinth detail
  • Internal pod accommodation including toilet and kitchen facilities.
