Luddon Construction have been involved in the renewables sector for many years. This has developed from extensive experience gained from working in the demanding and disciplined live HV power and energy sector. Further relevant and relatable experience has been gained over 30 years work within live process environments. Projects to date include:

• Heat Recovery Projects
• Installing District Heating
• Construction Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
• Energy from Waste Anerobic Digestion Plants
• Projects delivering Recycling Stations
• Control Buildings on Wind Farm Projects

We are now working hard to expand our Renewables experience portfolio to include Wind Farms, Battery Energy Storage Schemes (BESS) and Solar.

In Wind Energy we know we have the relevant experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering balance of plant works required for these projects. In addition to this we already have strong supply chain relationships with HV contractors should wind farm contracts include the Electrical balance of plant. We also have good design experience through our connections with known expert consultants in the Wind Farm environment. We have employed and are actively recruiting suitably experienced staff to make sure that we can deliver these projects successfully.

We feel that our experience elsewhere puts us in an excellent position to deliver BESS and Solar schemes. Although these are relatively new work streams to Civil Engineering Contracting, we are confident that we have all of the skills needed to deliver the constituent parts of these projects.
