Luddon Complete External Transformation at Glasgow Science Centre

Luddon Construction have completed the Outer Space project which is part of the £4 million Connect programme for Glasgow Science Centre.

The Connect: Outer Space project involved converting the external areas around Glasgow Science Centre to inspiring public spaces with improved connections between communities on both sides of the Clyde. It now also encourages outdoor activity, promotes physical and mental wellbeing, and celebrates science.

The works undertaken by Luddon Construction created a ‘front garden’ including new green space and infrastructure, a network of external exhibits and learning points and a new segregated cycle path along Pacific Quay, with links to national routes. The existing coach turning circle was also reduced to allow more space for pedestrians and cyclists to safely use the area.
