TJ Morris Ltd has appointed Luddon Construction to deliver the design and build of a new 35,000sqft Home Bargains unit and associated external works at The Stack Retail Park, Dundee.

The new build comprises a steel superstructure with insulated roof and wall panels and external finishes such as curtain walling. The external civils works involve drainage systems, all incoming services, new road, car park and hard and soft landscaping.

The design team appointed to this project consists of p3 Consulting as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyors, Ireland Design Architects, Ramage Young as Civil and Structural Engineers and Horizon M&E Services Design as MEP Engineer.

Construction work began in January this year with the project due for completion at the end of Summer 2023.

This store in Dundee will be the sixth Home Bargains delivered by Luddon Construction, with the other new builds completed in Blairgowrie, Rutherglen, Stirling, Craigmiller and St Rollox.
