Project Description:

Upgrade of locker rooms and toilets within live bottling facility

Works Included:

  • Creation of new access and installation of crash deck
  • As the facing brick was now obsolete, the existing brickwork had to be carefully taken down and  retained for later use
  • Down takings and removals
  • Existing suspended ceiling system
  • Asbestos by specialist subcontractor
  • Strip out old toilets and cubicles
  • Careful phasing of services isolations required to minimise impact on other operational areas redundant services
  • Coring through walls for service diversions
  • Existing brickwork internal walls. A BROKK demolition robot was utilised for speed, noise reduction and to eliminate risk of HAVS often suffered by operatives using traditional hand held breakers
  • Temporary dust cubes were installed for dust control during demolition
  • Floors were ground down and levelled with new screed

  • Full height privacy cubicles were installed in both M/F toilets 17
  • Disabled access toilet cubicles 2 c/w emergency alarm
  • Disabled access shower rooms 2 c/w emergency alarm
  • Shower room 
  • Wash hand basins c/w Dyson Airblade touchless taps and hand dryers
  • Internal doors including fire doors
  • Radiators
  • Vinyl flooring
  • Altro whiterock wall panels provide a hygienic wipe clean surface suitable for client’s future application of wall art
  • Management of client’s term contractors for specialist testing and commissioning
